ONLINE SERVICES AVAILABLE


EMIS Patient Access is a web-based application which has been developed to expand the services available to patients from Mitcham Medical Centre. 
Current EMIS Patient Access Services are:



  • Online Appointments - This enables you to view, book, or cancel appointments with your doctor online.

  • Online Repeats - This allows you to request your repeat prescriptions online. After the practice has dealt with your request, you will be able to collect the prescription in the usual way.

  • Patient Summary – This allows you to view your allergy details and prescription history online.


How to Apply



  1. Bring in a valid form of photo ID for us to verify your request.

  2. Confirm that the address we hold on the system is correct.

  3. Provide us with a valid working email address and other contact details asked for.

  4. Wait for the staff member to print your registration token and instructions.

  5. Take your registration document home and follow the instructions to complete your registration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING YOUR GP PRACTICE

“iPlato” has launched!

iPlato is a 2 way communication service between you the patient and us your GP Surgery. This messaging service is primarily used for reminders about your appointments with the option to cancel them if you can no longer make it.

DO’s

  • When you receive your reminder message which will be approximately 2 hours before your appointment, please follow the specific instructions to cancel your appointments should you need too.
  • Following your appointment you will be given the option to participate in our “Family and Friends Survey. Once again please follow the specific instructions to participate.

NOTE: All text costs associated with the reminders and surveys you receive will be covered by us providing you are responding to messages received from us using this service.

DONT’s

  • Don’t send urgent queries or requests via this service such as: Prescription Requests/Queries and Emergency Appointment Requests/Queries. To do such things please call the surgery you attend directly so that a member of staff can assist you.
  • Don’t send queries seeking medical advice from a GP regarding a problem you are experiencing as this service is not monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please call the surgery you attend directly so that a member of staff can assist you.
